“Fuego y Algebra”
-Jorge Luis Borges
There is a space in-between the culture of the things that we live with, the places we inhabit, and the artifacts that make us who we are. It is where we search for meaning. Perhaps it is within this internal geography, where our grasp of the world both real and perceived is made tangible. Or, at least, it is within that map of the interior world where we may find solace, dreams, and a view of what lies within.
My investigation of interpreting such spaces involves using technology and traditional formats in visual content collection with film, video, sound, space, performance art, prose and sculpture. It is always a goal for me to use my artist voice to interpret the material. I am interested in creating a world that captures the viewer and weaves them into the tapestry of the work.
